Sadegh Tabrizi (1938–2017) was one of Iran’s most prominent contemporary painters and a pioneer of the Saqqa-khaneh school and the *naqashi-khat* (calligraphic painting) style. By blending calligraphy, traditional Iranian symbols, and modern art, he created a unique style that had a significant impact on contemporary Iranian art. Tabrizi’s works are housed in prestigious museums and collections both in Iran and abroad, and they remain among the most distinguished examples of Iranian modernist art.
