Zahra Shahcheraghi is a contemporary Iranian artist born in Tehran in 1989. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Applied Science and Technology and works in the field of contemporary painting. Her visual language—approaching abstract expressionism—blends figurative elements, color, and personal narratives. In her work, figurative elements coexist with abstract, colorful compositions to form imaginative narratives; key themes include the female experience, the body, self-discovery, and concepts related to gender. Her exhibition history includes the “Mistress” exhibition at O ​​Gallery, Tehran (2021); the solo exhibition “Swan’s Death” at O ​​Gallery, Tehran (2023); and participation in the group exhibitions “I Feel Everything All At Once” and “So Far, Yet So Close” in London (2022). She works in mediums such as acrylic on canvas, mixed media on paper, and painting on canvas, and her work has also been presented on international platforms.
