Hossein Cheraghchi, born in Karaj in 1984, graduated with a degree in painting from the Art Branch of the Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) in 2005. He has been a member of the Institute for the Development of Visual Arts of Iran since 2006 and the Society of Iranian Painters since 2009; he also taught painting in schools from 1999 to 2011. Throughout his artistic career, Cheraghchi held seven solo exhibitions at Golestan Gallery between 2008 and 2014 and participated in exhibitions at venues such as Tara Gallery in California (2014) and the Zemestan Gallery at the Iranian Artists Forum (2011). Additionally, he has taken part in over 70 group exhibitions across Iran, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and was selected as one of the 35 participating artists in the inaugural “Magic of Persia” event in 2009.
